A Mascot agency has changed hands, with its new owners planning to make the most of Millennials and Gen Z-ers eyeing the area.

Graham and Maggie Sparks have taken the reins of Century 21 Bayside Mascot after a stint running their own brand based in Sydney’s west.

Mr Sparks said that the opportunity to buy into Mascot represented a chance to cater to the clientele that they understand best, recognising that tech-savvy younger buyers are looking for something quite different to those of older generations.

“I get my customers. I am in the same age group and know how I like to discover products and services, which is the same with property. Social media advertising and strong channel engagement via relevant property content are going to be key parts of our sales and property management marketing plans,” Mr Sparks said.

The Sparks plan to build a competitive team in the area who shares similar high-growth aspirations.

With a background in sales, Mr Sparks also brings numerous years of experience working across investment and commercial property to his new business. Ms Sparks, meanwhile, adds her knowledge in property management and operations.

The duo hope that the association with Century 21 will help them reach the ambitions they hold as business owners.

“I know that with the team here at Century 21 Bayside Mascot and access to a wealth of resources that would be unavailable to me as an independent business I can set high-growth and success goals,” Mr Sparks said.

James Bell, Century 21 Australasia chief executive, said he had big expectations for the future performance of the Mascot office.

“Graham is a highly successful operator with a wealth of experience. I’m delighted to welcome him to the C21 network and I know he will be a great asset to our team. He shares our passion for customer service, and I believe he has the drive and ambition to help us reach even greater heights. I look forward to seeing C21 Bayside Mascot go from strength to strength under his leadership,” Mr Bell commented.
