Harcourts Property Centre announced it had welcomed a “renowned” Wellington Point office into its fold as the network continues to deepen its roots on Queensland soil.
The network unveiled that Ray White Wellington Point, led by Ian Marshall, will rebrand and operate under the Harcourts Property Centre banner after a successful acquisition.
Mr Marshall, who was touted by the network as “a stalwart of the industry”, will continue to take up the role of leading salesperson following the rebranding, according to Harcourts Property Centre.
Director Sam Devlin lauded the latest addition to the network, describing Mr Marshall as “an icon of real estate” in the Redlands.
“Our acquisition includes Ian and his team as no one knows and understands this area like they do and we can’t wait to start working with them”, Mr Devlin said.
He also highlighted how other members of the Wellington Point team — particularly June Cranage, who is a prominent local real estate industry figure — will add to Harcourts Property Centre’s strengths.
“June is a prominent local identity, and the entire sales, property management and administration team have a wealth of knowledge in the area that can’t be replicated,” he stated.
Harcourts Queensland chief executive Mitch Peereboom also welcomed the new office to the state’s Harcourts team.
“The Harcourts Property Centre story is one of incredible ambition and leadership. Sam and Aaron continue to take the business to the next level with an unrivalled focus on their people”, said Mr Peereboom.
The network executive said the expansion came as a “natural progression”.
“[They] already have many active agents that service these markets, and we know that this new location will further enhance their contribution to the community. They are building a special business. We could not be prouder of the team,” Mr Peereboom concluded.
The launch of the Wellington Point office comes almost seven months after the opening of Harcourts Property Partners in Brisbane, which services the city’s western suburbs.
