Stockland & Leggo’s refurbished Ferntree Gully office is back open under familiar yet new leadership.
Janine Rule, a lifelong resident of the south-eastern Melbourne suburb, has been announced as the new director of the office, having spent the last 10 years working with a nearby team.
Ms Rule moves into an office that has been around since her childhood, hoping to use her expertise and local knowledge to boost the brand’s standing.
“The Stockdale & Leggo name was a big thing for me. I have lived in the area my entire life and knew the brand has a good reputation. Everyone knows this office — it has been around since I was a child, which is a testament to how well the community values the firm,” she said.
Ms Rule affirms that her focus as director will be on business growth — through talent acquisition — and bringing a new feel to the office.
“At the end of the day, all real-estate agencies offer a similar service, so it is important that we deliver exceptional service and exceptional results to ensure we stand out from the crowd.
“Most people in the area know and trust me, so I really want to bring a more personable approach to our office,” she added.
She also outlined how her priority was to work with her team to establish deeper community ties, especially considering the level of trust needed between agent and seller, during the sale of their greatest asset — their home.
“I want the people that sell and buy with us to feel as though they can build a relationship with their agent. Our priority is to help people with all their real estate needs and create long-term relationships with clients: that’s what attracted me to real estate in the first place,” she said.
Charlotte Pascoe, Stockdale & Leggo chief executive officer, said she was hugely excited by Ms Rule joining the group and hopes she will be able to contribute her skill set to market established properties, new land developments and house and land packages.
“Her experience working across big and small land developments and apartment complexes has required a unique skill set that sets her apart from other agents,” Ms Pascoe said.
“Janine is essentially a part of the community’s fabric. We undertook extensive research when we were looking for someone to front the new office and new Ferntree Gully team.”
