The brand has added luxury property expert Bradley Cocks to its staff.
Mr Cocks, who has extensive experience across a suite of skills, including marketing, communications and promotion of luxury travel and property developments, joins the group as a residential sales agent.
DiJones chief executive officer, Dean Mackie, believes Mr Cocks’ skills and ambition align well with the brand.
“Known for his ability for building strong rapport and relationships, Bradley’s vast global experience and network bring a new level of approach to sales and marketing communications in the real estate sector,” Mr Mackie explained, adding that Mr Cocks’ market knowledge makes him a great fit for the brand.
In addition to this, DiJones’ collaborative systems – which allow connection between clients across the brands entire footprint especially between Mr Cocks’ new outfit and Sydney – “will help Bradley seamlessly offer services to both his Sydney and Southern Highlands network,” Mr Mackie said.
Following in his family’s real estate footsteps, Mr Cocks believes DiJones has the ability to mould him into the best industry professional he can be.
“Real estate is in my blood. My grandfather started Bowes & Cocks in 1956, a real estate agency with offices in Ontario, Canada and like DiJones, they had a technology driven, forward thinking focus,” he said.
Having spent the last 20 years fine tuning skills relevant to the industry, Mr Cocks is adamant the DiJones culture is something he has never come across throughout his career, which included a 15-year window where he gained international experience in client relations, strategic negotiation, sales and marketing.
He revealed that a key motivation behind his move is his belief that there is “so much untapped potential in the Southern Highlands.”
“My own buying and selling experience means I can see the endless possibilities others may not – having the backing of DiJones and its systems will see me make a smooth transition into real estate.”
Part of the area's potential is its proximity to the Kiama coastline and the subtropical Minnamurra rainforest, as well as easy access to Sydney, Canberra and even the state's Snowy Mountains.
“The area is also blessed with great tourism destinations, education, health care, public transportation and a thriving arts community,” he concluded.
