Gold Coast enjoys sales jump

The Gold Coast residential land market and new housing market has seen a significant turnaround in sales activity during the March quarter 2009, research by Prodap has revealed.

The report identified a jump in vacant land sales by 78 per cent to 383 over the previous quarter, and sales of house / land packages (including townhouses, duplexes and villas)  increased by 103 per cent to 159.

The locations of the sales volume increases were spread across the Gold Coast, with a significant increase in sales occurring in Gaven (Pacific Pines) and Upper Coomera, both on the northern fringe of the Gold Coast.
