The Fleurieu Peninsula agency will be handed over to agent and auctioneer Joshua Bagley.

Mr Bagley only joined Ray White Strathalbyn, and the profession, in 2018 — after it was suggested he would make a great agent.

He believes the chance to continue the legacy of current business owners Andrew Dickson and Ryan Keatley has come at the perfect time.

“In four short years, my passion for the industry and my local area has grown deeper and deeper, and I am very grateful that this next step in my career has been bestowed upon me,” he said.

“I have watched and learnt from Andrew and Ryan closely, and I am privileged to carry on their legacy for Strathalbyn while still working closely with their Woodside and Mount Barker business.”

He expressed his desire to continue the expansion of Ray White’s brand in the region, with the Strathalbyn local believing his connection to the region means he understands the suburb more than anyone.

Explaining the traditional nature of the market, Mr Bagley details that the make-up of the town consists of “predominantly older established homes” while also possessing “new home developments which are attracting a first home buyer crowd”.

“We are a small community of under 10,000 people with a country town feel, but we are only 50 minutes away from the city in Adelaide, making it convenient to get to the city but being far from the hustle and bustle,” he added.

Touching on Ray White’s offerings to the region, he outlined that the agency brings a “whole other level of expertise and opportunity to our clients through our technology offering, while still maintaining a high level of personalised customer service”.

Matt Lindblom, Ray White South Australia and Northern Territory chief executive officer, voiced his excitement at having a new business owner in the network.

“Joshua has proven himself to be an exceptional real estate professional and an asset to both his clients and his team,” he said.

“We are excited to see Joshua maintain and provide a high level of service to the community in Strathalbyn, and to expand a young and dynamic team.”

Ray White Strathylbyn is the latest arm of the network to recently welcome new leadership after Ray White North Lake Macquarie changed ownership at the beginning of August.
