The agency has expanded its operations in the “sought-after” NSW Far North Coast area, with its eyes set on the region’s premium luxury market.

Belle Property announced the launch of a new outfit in Byron Bay as it looks to answer the increasing interest in the coastal region’s trophy market due to its perfect blend of rural inland villages and coastal communities.

The opening of the new post broadens Belle Property’s already established presence in Lennox Head after opening an office in the area three years ago.

Braden Walters, who will now lead Belle Property Byron Bay/Lennox, said the expanded market reach would help them to better service the fast-changing local real estate scene.

“We now represent a thriving real estate market which has experienced unparalleled growth and, as a result, opened a new office in Byron Bay to service the expanding needs of the community,” he stated.

With the average price of a house in Byron Bay now at $3 million and Lennox Head’s houses having a median value of $1.3 million, Mr Walters said that properties in the areas are seeing interest from both local and international buyers.

Mr Walters said that the strong appetite for trophy properties is not expected to die down any time soon — even after he oversaw the sale of over 180 luxury listings in the area last year.

He also explained why Belle Property is well-equipped to take on the top-tier market. “Our experience, attention to detail, marketing and understanding of the wants and needs of our consumers in the luxury lifestyle market sets us apart from other agencies,” he said.

In addition to the new Byron Bay base, Mr Walters said that Belle Property had launched a boutique offering to respond to the booming short-term rental market in the region.

“We launched the Belle Escapes brand, our holiday rental arm, to offer personal property management service to those looking to provide short-term rentals.

“The holiday rental chapter of the business was something the community was calling for, and our personalised services take property management to a level previously unseen in the market,” Mr Walters stated.

Belle Property chief executive Peter Hanscomb said it was the perfect time to expand operations in the thriving market.

“This is an exciting time of growth for Braden and his team. The Lennox Head area and surrounds are attracting incredible buyer interest, and we look forward to servicing the area,” he said.

For Mr Hanscomb, the agency’s exclusive tie-ups with global platforms allow them to be best positioned to generate buyer interest at a worldwide scale for the region’s “most special properties”.
