The former Harcourts South Australia chief executive has revealed his return to the top spot.
After a year away from the role, Gregg Toyama has shared he is “looking forward to reconnecting with everyone”.
Mr Toyama had stepped back from his post, retiring at the end of 2021 to care for his USA-based parents who were experiencing ill health.
Of that time, Mr Toyama said he “was fortunate to spend precious time with them as well as family and friends”.
It wasn’t until his return to Adelaide that he became aware that the Harcourts SA CEO role had become vacant.
“On reflection, I realised that I still had the desire, thirst for learning and vision to support and challenge Harcourts SA, and myself, to be the very best we can be in the never-ending journey to provide the finest experience in real estate,” he commented.
Having spent 16 years with the brand, Mr Toyama performed in a number of roles, including head of eBusiness and the CEO position.
Harcourts Australia CEO Adrian Knowles has also professed his excitement and delight surrounding Mr Toyama’s return, sharing that “his contribution and commitment to raising the professional standards of the real estate industry under the Harcourts banner is outstanding”.
“Welcome back in blue GT!” Mr Knowles said.
