After 11 years garnering industry experience across various agencies, including Stone, Frederico Fraga-Matos returns to the agency, which handed him his first taste of real estate.
Mr Fraga-Matos joins the network as a specialist in the Petersham, Stanmore, Lewisham, Marrickville, and Dulwich Hill markets and brings his executive assistant, Charline D’Anastasi, with him.
Having been described by BresicWhitney chief executive officer Thomas McGlynn as “humble, forward-thinking, and genuinely valu[ing of] teamwork”, Mr Fraga-Matos brings his services to the company’s inner-west agency 11 years after the network gave him his introduction to the industry.
He heralded his work experience at BresicWhitney as a key to his career thus far.
“Often it’s the place and people we encounter early in our careers that influence us and inspire the type of work we want to do,” he said. Adding his excitement at joining a “collaborative, creative, and innovative [group]”, he said it “feels like a homecoming”.
Mr McGlynn stated his belief that Mr Fraga-Matos’ “expertise in these inner-west markets will add to our already strong presence and increase our service scope for both owners and buyers”.
Agency co-founder Shannan Whitney stated: “Frederico came into the industry as an 18-year-old and spent time with BresicWhitney, which at that point was still a relatively young business. That was 11 years ago.
“Now, as an established agent with a strong network, experience, and track record, I’m delighted to have the opportunity to work with Federico again.”
Mr Fraga-Matos’ arrival signals the brand’s commitment to its strategic direction, unveiled last year, which aims for the brand to advance its position within Sydney’s inner west and eastern beaches.
His arrival is the latest move undertaken by the agency as it continues to strengthen its team for the new year, following last December’s pair of internal promotions within its property management team.
