A multilingual Ashfield agent has aligned herself with an agency looking to make its mark in the neighbourhood.
Jackie Wang has been revealed as joining Hudson McHugh, following its recent expansion from its Leichhardt roots into Summer Hill after a merger with the local Raine & Horne office.
Lauding the talents of their newest recruit, Hudson McHugh co-owner James Price shared: “All, and I mean all, of Jackie’s clients are recommended to her by happy past clients.
“She has a pragmatism that’s appreciated by both her sellers and the successful buyers.”
Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese and English, Ms Wang herself believes it’s her feminine approach, and a willingness to understand her vendor’s goal before helping them achieve it, that delivers her a point of difference in the local market.
“Women really look after the whole process, supporting and advising clients, even buying for them. It’s innate to make people comfortable and make it a very straightforward process. Vendors value genuine commitments, particularly if they have experienced other agents promising the world at the listing presentation before failing to deliver,” she illustrated.
“Plus, being Asian and multilingual, there’s no communication barrier for my clients and the buyers.”
With plenty of successful sales stories under her belt, Ms Wang draws on her career experience across tax, accounting, marketing, and hospitality that have provided her “with a broad skill base” — and give her “the ability to have in-depth conversations and connect with people”.
Having previously run her own café and worked for HSBC, she holds bachelor’s degrees in marketing and Japanese studies — plus a tertiary qualification in accounting.
Ms Wang’s reputation and skill set has been touted as “a crucial strategic asset” for the Hudson McHugh brand, with Mr Price acknowledging Ashfield as “one of the biggest markets in the inner west”.
“We’re market leaders in neighbouring Summer Hill and are striving to attain the same reputation in Ashfield, where we sold 25 properties last year,” he shared.
Growing from strength to strength since its 2015 inception, those 25 transactions in the local area contributed to the 300 sales the group — which is made up of 33 individuals — achieved across the calendar year.
