Sam Towndrow is set to join the Sydney-centric brand.
BresicWhitney has lauded the Eastern Suburbs’ agent’s “warmth and care for those he serves”, and noted his average selling price of $2.8 million over the 2022 year.
A specialist across the Paddington, Woollahra, Double Bay and Bondi Junction markets, Mr Towndrow joins BresicWhitney from Ballard Property Double Bay, where he spent the past seven years.
Prior to that, he had spent a decade at Laing+Simmons.
According to Mr Towndrow, the decision to align with BresicWhitney was a natural one.
“Being in the industry for nearly 20 years has given me a deep understanding of not only the market, but the role that innovation, leadership, and culture plays in the success of a business.”
Expressing his excitement at joining the group, the agent said he is looking forward to collaborating with colleagues “right across our key markets to connect buyers and sellers”.
The area specialist, who also calls the Eastern Suburbs “home”, is set to work closely with Maclay Longhurst and team. BresicWhitney has noted that he will also work more broadly with the group’s agents across the inner east, inner west, and lower north shore.
Weighing in on Mr Towndrow’s decision to join the brand, BresicWhitney CEO Thomas McGlynn said, “Sam’s passion for his craft, commitment, and wise judgement makes him one of the market’s best.”
He believes it is important for the group’s growth strategy to continue attracting and empowering people “who share our values and ambitions.”
“He’ll bolster our already-strong Eastern Suburbs presence, and we’re delighted he’s chosen BresicWhitney for the next step in his career,” the CEO concluded.
The appointment of Mr Towndrow follows the return of a former work experience kid, Frederico Fraga-Matos, to the group earlier this year.
It had rounded out 2022 with two internal promotions in its property management division.
