The boutique real estate brand begins the new year with the addition of its latest franchise, 44 kilometres from the city’s CBD in Glenorie.
Husband-and-wife team Amanda and Rhys Coles founded WFR Real Estate five-and-a-half years ago, and remain part of the new Stone outfit. Mrs Coles will serve as Stone Glenorie’s principal, with Mr Coles acting as sales director.
The pair admitted the performance of similar outfits in nearby Wyong and Hawkesbury, as well as a desire to “grow our business”, were key drivers of their decision to join Stone. Mr and Mrs Coles heralded the network’s technology and general support as another factor that boosted their choice.
“We can’t wait to be part of the Stone family and connected to the entire network,” the pair said. “From day one, we have felt a strong connection to the brand, [both] visually, and for their values.”
Additionally, the pair believes there is significant opportunity in Glenorie — a region without a dedicated agency servicing a suburb that boomed over the past two COVID-19-affected years due to the diverse range of properties it and nearby Wisemans Ferry boasts.
Luke Cameron, Stone Real Estate head of franchise, acknowledged the pair’s “strong understanding of the area and proven track record.”
“It was clear as early as our first discussions that they’d be a perfect cultural fit for the Stone family. We’ll be backing Amanda and Rhys to capitalise on the opportunity in Glenorie in 2023 and beyond,” he added.
Last year, the agency announced a plethora of new offices, including one in Sydney’s Waterloo, Logan, and North-West of Brisbane amongst others.
