A national brand has announced the appointment of an experienced C-Suite executive in a bid to drive growth and build reputation.
Mindy Powell-Hodges has accepted the head of network role at Raine & Horne. Having accumulated extensive experience in several disciplines, including real estate franchising, proptech, financial services, marketing, and public relations, across a 12-year career that included stints in the United Kingdom, United States of America, and Middle East, the network has reported her appointment as perfect to mastermind its three-year strategic growth plans.
Network executive chairman Angus Raine heralded her experience and expertise, including her time as a chief operating officer at proptech start-up, MyHomeVault, and as chief executive officer and managing director of real estate recruitment firm, Greenfield Recruitment.
“In previous roles, whether recruiting staff or driving market share for a franchisor, Mindy has focused on profitability,” he said, before adding, “Mindy is a forward thinker with the ability to create a cohesive and collaborative culture.”
“Having worked at an executive senior level with two major Australian franchise groups, Mindy has an impressive background and ability to empower her teams and pivot them toward strategy and growth.”
In addition to the network’s plans to establish new offices and purchase Australian and overseas networks, which Ms Powell-Hodges will “play a big part in,” Mr Raine revealed that her previous experience at identifying opportunities for strategic growth “will enable Raine & Horne to build on the outstanding growth and technology advancements made in recent years.”
“Our board is excited about working with Mindy to progress our three-year strategy and our many growth initiatives already in train and implementing new strategies to ensure our ongoing success in our 140th year.”
Ms Powell-Hodges expressed her delight at joining a network she noted as withstanding the test of time and the many crises and challenges hurdled at it.
She revealed her enthusiasm for driving the network’s business growth and office performance. Ms Powell-Hodges concluded that she’s “look[ing] forward to assisting and working with the group’s long-term principals and key team members to understand their needs now and into the future.”
Ms Powell-Hodges joins the six strategic hires Raine & Horne added to its corporate ranks in August last year. At the time, Mr Raine explained, “We take the requirements of our network very seriously and are constantly listening and adapting to ensure our offering is second-to-none.”
