Ouwens Casserly Real Estate has entered a partnership to acquire Adelaide’s Timms Real Estate.

The South Australian network said, “OC is proud to undertake a new venture in South Adelaide with Timms Real Estate.”

Ouwens Casserly (OC) managing director Alexander Ouwens said the addition of Timms Real Estate into the fold is “a critical next step” in the group’s growth.

“Assembling the right squad is important, and we are delighted to have partnered with Valerie and her all-star team,” he commented.

Valerie Timms, the founder and director of Timms Real Estate, said the team “is thrilled to join the OC family.”

Calling OC “a great fit for Timms,” she listed off the similar culture of investing in technology, developing their people and delivering great client service as elements of the respective teams’ synergies.

Also acknowledging that OC and Timms Real Estate have “known each other for 15 years,” Mr Ouwens explained that the relationship is based on trust.

“We share the same set of core values and strive to provide outstanding service for our clients, making us perfect partners!”

According to a statement outlining the partnership, the “strategic collaboration” will allow both Timms and OC to “leverage the strengths of each other.

With Timms Real Estate to operate as OC Real Estate Lonsdale from March 2023, Timms Real Estate has been reported as being able to access OC Real Estate’s agent and resource network, while OC Real Estate will benefit from Timms’ marketing strategies.

This partnership pushes the number of OC offices to five, with locations including three geographic hubs across Eastwood, Henley Beach and Lonsdale.

They also boast two community locations in Kensington and Willunga.

Now selling more than 1,000 homes a year and with 1,700 properties under management, OC acknowledges itself as being in a “transformative phase”.
