Touting the likes of Deloitte, Honeywell, Skechers and Amaysim among its clients, Figari has revealed its first Australian destination.
The serviced office brand’s first foray into the Australian market, in Melbourne’s Collins Square, comes as the group aims to “transform how organisations manage their physical office presence across the country.”
According to a statement, the new site, which is situated in Docklands, comprises 2,600 square metres of “fully furnished, polished, executive-style office space, with a full suite of top-tier technology and office equipment.”
The workspace “represents a new level of premiumisation in Australia”, touting flexible floor plans and the benefits of serviced office amenities.
It’s a homecoming for Figari’s co-founder and CEO, Christopher Butt.
An Aussie working abroad in the Philippines’ capital of Manila, Mr Butt kicked off Figari with co-founder and business partner Darcy Lalonde.
The pair launched the business with a “modest” one-floor office space a decade ago, aiming to bring Australian standards and designs to the workspace concept.
Since then, Figari has grown to become the Philippines’ third largest player in the flexible/serviced office business, boasting more than 200 clients worldwide and 23 offices around the world.
In Mr Butt’s own words, “As an Aussie working abroad, I thought it imperative to bring Aussie standards and designs to Manila.”
“However, since the pandemic, my wife and I made the decision to move back to Australia and this has provided me with the opportunity to focus on expanding our brand across Australia with our same working concept, but this time reversing the business model,” he divulged.
“While I had brought Australia to Asia over 10 years ago, I’ll now be bringing global business to Australia,” he expressed.
“We are really excited to be coming back to Australia and to be opening Figari Collins Square and many more sites as the business evolves across Australia.”
Mr Butt explained that the business had “mastered the art of meeting the operational requirements”.
Figari also engages in predictive modelling, which Mr Butt said assists them “to stay a step ahead of their needs so we can fully service their emerging requirements.”
“Workspaces matter, we make them matter, and we are revered for our capability to deliver the best!” he exclaimed.
