A prominent network outfit on Queensland’s Gold Coast has added another office to its arsenal.
LJ Hooker Southern Gold Coast | Coolangatta | Tweed has expanded its borders with the opening of a new Currumbin Waters office, in a move described by agency principal, Daniel Alexander as providing “some more space for our sales and marketing team to provide services more effectively to the local community.”
The Currumbin office will house the agency’s expanded real estate teams of 20 sales and marketing specialists while focusing on serving the southern Gold Coast and northern NSW region across the commercial and residential sectors.
Mr Alexander labelled the region, where house prices have soared 21.2 per cent in the last 12 months to their current median value of $1.86 million, as a “dynamic marketplace for which we’re well-placed to serve.”
In addition to house price growth, units in the region experienced 6.3 per cent growth in the last 12 months, with median prices resting at approximately $850,000, while tenants parted with an average of $900 per week to rent a home or $665 for units.
He noted that Currumbin Waters “is an enclave boasting some of Australia’s best beachside homes and views. Just inland, Currumbin Waters has a broad mix of property, including affordable family homes, beautiful waterfronts, and an in-demand industrial area.”
“The new office will provide even more opportunity for us to get involved with and support the local community,” he declared. Adding that the agency is “looking forward to increasing our services in the market and assisting clients and customers [with] all their property needs.”
LJ Hooker’s general manager for the network, Stephen Mutton, commended the LJ Hooker Southern Gold Coast | Coolangatta | Tweed team for the latest move and said that “this expansion is a representation of the take-up of his value proposition to agents, property managers, and support staff.”
He noted: “Currumbin has been one of the most buoyant markets in Australia over the last three years.”
Mr Mutton believes expansion into the region will “introduce more sellers and investors” to the range of network offerings during a turbulent time in the market where “expertise is a major commodity.”
The Currumbin office will be based at the Currumbin Fair Shopping Centre.
