Andrew Coronis will be relinquishing the reins of the chief executive position, marking “a significant milestone” for the future of the group.
The group has appointed Karuna Mazzocchi as its new CEO, with outgoing CEO Andrew Coronis to take on the chairman position.
According to Mr Coronis, Ms Mazzocchi has “the passion and strategic vision to take the Coronis Group to new heights”.
“There is no person more deserving of the position.”
“Karuna’s appointment marks a significant milestone for the future of Coronis Group,” he shared.
With the incoming chief executive having spent close to two decades with the business, most recently as the company’s chief operating officer, Mr Coronis stated: “It’s safe to say that she’s basically a real-life superhero, living our values and purpose of changing people’s lives for the better.”
It’s been reported that Ms Mazzocchi already has a strong strategic plan in place for the company, aiming to expand into new markets, establish the company as a market leader on a national scale, and empower agents to become entrepreneurs, aligning with Coronis Group’s beliefs.
Her vision? To mentor and empower both aspiring and established agents to reach their potential.
Coronis has revealed that “she is dedicated to partnering with the right talent to ensure the continued growth and success of the company”.
Speaking of her appointment, Ms Mazzocchi said: “I am honoured to be appointed as the new CEO of Coronis Group.”
“We have an incredible team here, and I am confident that we can achieve great things together. I am excited to lead the charge as we grow and expand into new areas, offering more opportunities to our team and changing the real estate industry for the better.”
She brings more than 20 years of experience to the role and has been with the Coronis Group since 2003. Coronis Group founder Theo Coronis has weighed in on Ms Mazzocchi’s appointment, noting her as “an integral part of our team”.
“I am delighted to welcome Karuna as our new CEO,” he shared.
Ms Mazzocchi (formerly Ms Dimelow) was recently spotlighted on the REB podcast network.
In an episode of Secrets of the Top 100 Agents, Ms Mazzocchi spoke about her work day-to-day and the impact of changing market sentiment on the industry — and how professionals could make the most of it.
She also offered her perspective on how agents and business owners can build a well-oiled team in today’s tight labour market.
