The Sydney brand has expanded its field with the addition of a new location operating in the near south, creating a quintet for the group.

The name made it a natural fit: Highland has launched its fifth office in the Southern Highlands hotspot of Bowral, as it looks to capitalise on the increasing popularity of the Sydney-adjacent region.

Corina Nesci, a veteran of the area with experience in both residential and rural sales, joins the team to lead the new effort, bringing with her a particular knowledge of the area’s luxury market.

Company CEO, David Highland, expects that to serve her well, as he sees the addition as a way to capitalise on the company’s Sydney clientele, who are seeking an escape from the city.

“Many of our clients who purchase in the eastern suburbs are also looking for superior homes with more extensive land offerings at various price points or looking at lifestyle moves away from the city.

“This expansion is a strategic move for Highland as we will be able to meet the needs of buyers in the area as well as those of our existing clients in Sydney who are looking for a change of scenery,” Mr Highland said.

Ms Nesci highlighted some of the features that are attracting city dwellers looking for a tree change or second home.

“The Southern Highlands represents a lifestyle that can’t be achieved in the cities — people move here and stay because of the beautiful towns, rolling hills, community lifestyle, incredible nature, bustling restaurants, great schools, and more affordable but premium housing,” she said.

Ms Nesci added that while her focus is always on the client, she was setting a high bar for herself in this new venture.

“Every sale I have made has been a personal journey for me where the client’s interests are at the very heart. I am delighted to be working alongside Highland for the opening of its fifth office and looking forward to the goals we will inevitably achieve and expectations we will exceed”.

This latest expansion for the erstwhile Sydney brand comes on the heels of another recent addition to its ranks. Property marketing specialist Foxwood Property joined Highland’s project marketing division in September 2022, bolstering the firm’s services in the field and expanding its expertise in prime developments.

The Bowral office will be formally launched on Thursday, 23 March 2023, at an event at one of the region’s most storied establishments, Bendooley Estate.
