Looking to provide support for its rapidly expanding office network across Victoria, OBrien Real Estate has added two industry heavyweights to its roster.
The network has recently welcomed two new executives to its leadership team, appointing Lucas Wilson as the head of business performance and growth and Justin Hodgson as the chief marketing officer.
In his new role, Mr Wilson, who has 27 years of industry experience in sales, sales leadership, and business performance, will play a crucial role in supporting in-office performance.
“I’ve known the leadership team at OBrien for a number of years now, and I have admired what they have created from afar. Since starting with the team, it’s refreshing to see a group that actually lives its core values and aligns its business goals with them,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Mr Hodgson, who was recently the former general manager of marketing at Kay & Burton, is also expected to add firepower to the corporate team with his extensive knowledge of property, digital marketing, and technology.
“As a keen observer of the Melbourne property market, it was hard not to be impressed with the growth of the OBrien brand,” he commented.
With the network now boasting a web of 40 offices with 500 staff across the state, Mr Justin highlighted that the agency has been a “standout” in the real estate landscape over the last 10 years.
In 2022, the OBrien has made strides towards attaining its goal of establishing a 50-office network within metropolitan Melbourne, with the opening of its 36th office in Melton last July.
Notably, the network has also set its sight on the state’s regional markets, with regional director Peter Clark revealing that two new offices located in Torquay and Alexandra have been added to its roster during the final quarter of 2022.
For 2023, chief executive Mitch Armstrong emphasised that supporting the growth of their offices is their “number one priority”.
“With our exceptional on-field performance team in Lucas Wilson and Jason Mudford, our offices will be assisted in all areas of their business,” he said.
In another strategic move, Mr Armstrong shared that OBrien Corporate recently relocated to a new office space in South Melbourne.
“The move to South Melbourne was a natural fit for us, and it reinforces our position as a state-based brand with a strong focus on exploring new and exciting markets,” he said.
