International and domestic heavyweights are dominating the agenda for the Australasian Real Estate Conference’s (AREC) return to the Gold Coast in 2023.

The likes of Reese Witherspoon, Caitlyn Jenner, Tom Ferry, Ryan Serhant, Madison Sutton, Rich Roll and Nedd Brockman will be speaking at the 28 and 29 May event, which AREC founder John McGrath said is “the largest real estate industry empowerment event in the world today.”

“We have doubled our investment in speakers this year to deliver on our promise of the best event in history,” he stated.

Sharing that the aim is to improve content from the year prior each and every year, Mr McGrath conceded that it “gets very hard” after a quarter of a century.

“But I believe, this year we are delivering the best speaker line-up of any real estate conference globally.”

He acknowledges that with so much change happening both within the industry and in the world, “the need to expose yourself to global best practice has never been greater than it is today.”

“AREC started from our desire to bring the best real estate speakers and experts in the world to the Australian market. Back then the gap between the best in Australia and the best in the world was significant,” the founder outlined.

“It started with just four US speakers and now boasts over 30+ incredible speakers, including over 20 from Australia and New Zealand. The gap has closed significantly as Australia and New Zealand are home to some of the best agents on the planet.”

AREC 2023 general manager Nichola Byrne is gearing up for a huge event, sharing that “the interest this year has already exceeded previous years even before the speaker line-up was released.”

“I believe it is the combination of insights and experience from the top salespeople globally, as well as powerful life experiences that can be applied to every attendee, whether in sales, property management, or marketing and brand development,” she said.

“Again, due to wonderful technological advances, we are able to access the insights and learnings from headline speakers that will make this year’s event compelling for all who attend.”

With the event once again emceed by real estate coach and trainer Tom Panos, the conference will be kicked off by the appearance of Ms Witherspoon, who will appear via satellite.

The businesswoman and award-winning actress, producer and author will be sharing her own Lessons from the South.

Heavy hitters in the real estate arena will also speak at this year’s event, including Alexander Phillips, James Tostevin, Marcus Chiminello, Phil Harris, Sarah Bell, Kate Ashton, Cindy Cash, Chantelle Collin, Kelly O’Brien, and Fiona Blayney.
