The property advisory and valuation firm is expending its national footprint, acknowledging the potential for growth in Australia’s largest state.

The opening of the Orchard Street, West Perth headquarters saw LAWD land an all-new office space for its already established West Australian team and saw more than 80 guests converge on the new office space from across the property, finance, and agribusiness sectors to celebrate.

It’s off the back of the Western Australian property market being “one of the most exciting in the country”, according to LAWD senior director Danny Thomas.

“We are now seeing a number of buyers, including both domestic institutions and foreign investors, looking to the west in search of greater value than can be found in the eastern states or overseas,” he indicated.

“This office was the natural next step as we continue to expand both our geographic footprint and service offering in specialist property throughout Australia.”

The new LAWD office extends the firm’s presence across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Northern Territory, while also incorporating a number of regional centres.

The Western Australian team will now provide services that are not only matched to the unique local market but also supported by the knowledge and extensive connections offered by the firm’s broader network, LAWD chief executive officer Enda Foley revealed.

Acknowledging the “notable” growth achieved by the organisation since its 2020 inception, Mr Foley commented that “the Perth headquarters will ensure we have specialist staff with local skills on the ground who can collaborate with the national team, made up of some of Australia’s preeminent property professionals, who are entrenched in the industry and connected with relevant stakeholders throughout the globe.”

Mr Foley took on the CEO role at LAWD in August 2022.
