The boutique network has opened its latest outpost in the heartland of the bustling Queensland hotspot.
Stone Carrara, which will be led by vastly experienced Burleigh Heads agent Scott Campbell, becomes the network’s 10th office in the ever-growing South-East Queensland market. A team of six offices is set to service several key areas: Carrara, Ashmore, Benowa, Merrimac, Nerang, and Bundall.
Despite a myriad of economic headwinds, Mr Campbell, who has worked in the area for the best part of a decade, explained the market is “buoyant with numerous enquiries,” despite recent economic headwinds leading to buyers exercising caution in their decision-making.”
“Stock is tight at the moment, but there is plenty of great value across the region,” he said, adding that “there is a definite shortage of quality listings and quite strong demand for certain property types.”
Median prices for homes in the region are sitting at approximately $900,000 and $700,000 for apartments, with Mr Campbell spotlighting Nerang and Merrimac as hotspots for “buyers looking for value.”
Having previously worked at an independent agency that boasted half the market share in nearby Emerald Hills but “not much exposure outside of the estate”, Mr Campbell revealed that his decision to join Stone grew from “big plans to grow the business to the next level”.
In search of the right guidance to achieve this outcome and with no interest in joining a big franchise group, Mr Campbell met with Stone, revealing he had “no hesitation jumping on board”.
Gary Hassett, head of business growth for Stone Real Estate in Queensland, described Mr Campbell’s decision to join Stone as a “momentous event” for the network’s strategic growth plans in South-East Queensland.
“Scott’s leadership, acumen, expertise, and resolute market presence in his preferred areas render him an invaluable asset for Stone,” Mr Hassett said.
He labelled Mr Campbell’s values and aspirations as “perfectly aligned with Stone’s, creating a symbiotic relationship that bodes well for the future”.
“We are thrilled about partnering with Scott and his team and being an integral part of his future growth trajectory,” he said, adding Mr Campbell’s arrival ensures the network is “all geared up to embark on a transformative journey that will elevate our standing within the South-East Queensland marketplace and beyond”.
