REB is thrilled to unveil its Top 100 Agents ranking for 2023.

Now in its 12th year, the annual Top 100 Agents ranking and associated report champion agents across Australia’s residential real estate industry.

The ranking recognises the outstanding achievements of Australia’s top-performing agents at a time of ongoing challenges in the property market and the broader economy.

It is determined based on a range of metrics, including the number of properties sold, the total dollar volume of properties sold, and the average sale value across the 2022 calendar year.

Each agent is ranked comparatively across these three metrics against their peers, with the combined comparative score used to determine the top-ranked agents.

The ranking not only rewards agents who have achieved stellar sales numbers through hard work, dedication, and going above and beyond for clients in their local area, but also spurs them to win more listings.

Australia’s Top 100 Agents rankings have been released in a challenging economic environment with rising interest rates and property prices alongside fluctuating buyer demand.

Despite these headwinds, the top 100 agents sold an impressive 11,642 residential properties totalling $23.6 billion in 2022 (slightly lower than 12,556 properties sold in 2021 totalling $25.6 billion).

The top 10 agents sold 1,680 properties for a combined value of $5.1 billion, down from 1,783 transactions worth $5.4 billion in 2021.

The top 100 agents secured an average of 136 property listings and sold 116 properties during the 2022 calendar year, while the top 10 agents secured 205 listings and sold 168 properties.

The average value of residential properties sold across the top 100 agents totalled $236.4 million, and $507.1 million across the top 10 agents.

The Top 100 Agents ranking also sets a benchmark for success and a record of achievement that other agents could aspire to emulate.

REB editor Grace Ormsby congratulated the listed agents for their successes and commended them for remaining resilient during tough market conditions.

“It’s an absolute pleasure to finally be able to reveal the much-awaited 2023 rankings.”

“It’s been incredible to see the effort and discipline shown by this year’s Top 100 Agents cohort. Every single agent named is at the pinnacle of the Australian real estate profession, and deserving of their recognition in this year’s ranking.”
