The boutique brand picked a leader with long-held ties in the state.

Anthony Webb will join the brand to lead operations in Victoria, moving on from his role at Barry Plant that he stepped into after the real estate agency established by his father, Philip Webb, was taken over by the network at the end of 2022.

Prior to that, Mr Webb spent the bulk of his career in his father’s business, which had been active for more than five decades in the Victorian region.

CEO of Belle Property, Peter Hanscomb, commented on Mr Webb’s experience in the state and across the industry’s sectors as excellent preparation for growing into this position at the national network.

“Anthony Webb’s 20-year career in real estate sees him well-equipped to provide support to our 32 franchisees across Victoria.

“Having worked in both sales and property management, along with being a qualified auctioneer, he brings a holistic view of the real estate business and a determination to really make a difference,” Mr Hanscomb said.

The exec noted that beyond managing the needs of existing offices, Mr Webb would be considering areas for growth in a market that is keenly in the network’s sights.

“He will also help to identify potential future franchisees in a state that is seeing considerable growth and interest in the Belle Property brand,” Mr Hanscomb added.

Mr Webb said he was attracted to Belle Property’s leadership and what he considered to be a strategic approach to expansion.

“Belle Property isn’t just looking at putting a franchise in every suburb.

“Belle Property is looking for the right people in the right location, with the right ethics and morals,” he commended.

“Having come from a family real estate business, this approach resonates strongly with me. Being a real estate professional can be quite isolating and I welcome the opportunity to help support and sustainably develop our franchisees across the state,” Mr Webb added.
