The boutique agency’s expansion into the strategic Sydney market has continued with the arrival of an experienced sales agent to the team.

Shabina Kamal, formerly at Atlas by LJ Hooker, joins BresicWhitney’s Lower North Shore team. She is the second former Atlas by LJ Hooker employee to join the office, following the arrival of Nic Christou in early June.

Ms Kamal, who’s also held positions at Raine & Horne, admits she’s been admiring her new employers for “some time” and heralded BresicWhitney for their capacity to “creatively present properties.”

She described there being a “real warmth at the head of BresicWhitney,” before adding a few facets of the network’s operations “struck a chord” with her, including its people-centric approach.

“I’m excited to be embarking on this new chapter, both with respect to my professional journey, and the opportunity to further shape and develop their Lower North Shore presence,” she said.

Network chief executive officer, Thomas McGlynn, explained they are “delighted Shabina has chosen BresicWhitney for this next step in her career.”

He celebrated Ms Kamal, who recently returned from maternity leave following the birth of her first child, as boasting a reputation that is “one of the best across the Lower North Shore.”

Mr McGlynn added she is “strongly aligned with our values and vision to become Sydney’s leading property group.”

Across 13 years in the real estate industry, the network’s CEO explained Ms Kamal has “proven her ability to marry tenacity with wise judgement, which is a balance that’s not always easy to achieve, but one that is so important in the current market.”

Mr McGlynn confirmed the network’s construction of its sales team on the Lower North Shore is set to continue into the back half of 2023, before stressing: “It’s an absolute pleasure to welcome Shabina.

Earlier this month, BresicWhitney’s growth stretched into its North Sydney operations with the arrival of the region’s number one sales agent alongside a sales associate, which Mr McGlynn defined at the time as a key step in the network’s plans to becoming one of Sydney’s leading property groups.

The network unveiled further plans for its Lower North Shore team after it announced the outfit’s physical office location would be unveiled before the end of the year.
