A new agent has joined the network’s inner west Sydney roster, one that is touted to have a strong focus on the clientele’s aspirations.
CobdenHayson Balmain has added Jodie Thomas to its team, a local to the peninsula for the past 20-plus years.
Before venturing into real estate, Ms Thomas spent two decades in the corporate world, refining her globally recognised negotiation skills and commercial acumen. This background served as an ideal foundation for her transition into the property industry.
Renowned for having a “strong and straightforward” communication style, Ms Thomas says she quickly determines “what’s important to people and why”.
“I’ve spent countless hours viewing open homes – it’s one of my favourite things to do and it’s really helped me solidify my local area knowledge,” she said.
Ms Thomas emphasises her commitment to delivering high-quality experiences for buyers and sellers is guided by her core personal values of “health, joy and equity”.
She acknowledged the challenges clients face, such as juggling high-pressure jobs, families and other obligations, where competing priorities can consume limited time — especially when it comes to purchasing a property.
“My aim is to provide effective real estate services to connect buyers with their ideal home or investment property and ensure sellers have a seamless, positive and transparent experience.
“Essentially, I want clients to spend more time enjoying their property and their life,” she said.
Matt Hayson, co-director of CobdenHayson, lauded the latest addition to the network’s ranks, emphasising Ms Thomas’ “empathetic and respectful” approach to client’s individual needs during the sales process.
"She’s resolute about listening intently so she can understand their true needs and connect them with the right property.
“She’s an agent who genuinely cares and really takes the time to get to the essence of people’s motivations, and that’s a great advantage for clients,” he stated.
The latest addition to the network’s Balmain outfit comes after CobdhenHayson strategically expanded its footprint in the NSW capital’s inner west suburbs.
In February, a new office was added to the network in Petersham, marking the sixth location under the brand.
