National network Professionals has experienced substantial growth in the early days of the new financial year, with the opening five new offices in July and a total of seven for the quarter.
The group’s CEO, Katherine Gonzalez-Cork, lifted the lid on how the brand has attracted high-calibre talents and maintained growth in a competitive field.
As she describes it, the group focuses on ensuring that the guiding principles behind their product offering remain strong, knowing that in this current marketplace agencies are looking for symbiosis in the way they like to work.
“Our growth strategy focuses on attracting business owners who align with our brand and values,” Ms Gonzalez-Cork explained, noting that their retention often extends beyond the current business owner.
“We have a proud history with many second- and third-generation members. The head office team, myself and our board of directors are united in our commitment to consistent and healthy growth that benefits all our members,” she said.
According to Ms Gonzalez-Cork, what sets Professionals apart is “genuine care for our members”.
“Business owners are increasingly seeking more than just a brand; they want support, connection, collaboration and community,” she explained.
Noting that they operate from a “people over profits” viewpoint, Ms Gonzalez-Cork commented that they regularly attract members who value “engagement, contribution and a sense of belonging” as well as the strength of a national brand that offers a wide range of services.
Importantly, no achievement goes unnoticed, with the brand emphasising the importance of uplifting and celebrating members.
In Ms Gonzalez-Cork’s eyes, the group’s values, coupled with its long-running experience, has never been so important in this current marketplace.
“With our longevity since 1976 and national representation, we have the experience and coverage to anticipate market factors before our competitors,” she said.
Looking ahead, the brand feels confident that their guidance will help business owners weather this period and go on to greater strength.
“The fluctuations in 2022 and 2023 are not new to us, and we believe that the current market shows signs of strength. We are confident that the next five years will be an excellent time to be in the real estate industry,” Ms Gonzalez-Cork noted.
With its sights set on the latter part of 2023, Professionals flagged that it will have more exciting office openings to report, as interest in the network continues to be strong across the nation.
“To manage our strong growth, we have made key appointments in our head office. We are actively preparing for a record number of offices rebranding to Professionals this financial year,” she said.
