Operating out of the Gold Coast, Yassamin McNair is Coronis’ newest franchise owner.
Having joined Coronis over a decade ago, Ms McNair has reflected on her journey to operating her own franchise, stating that from the outset of joining the group “the environment felt right, with no rigidity”.
Now, having embraced Coronis’ extensive training opportunities and planning processes, she has ventured into the role of franchise partner, leaning on the group for their insights into property management acquisitions, organic growth, financing, insurance and various other aspects of business administration.
It’s not only her professional acumen that has benefited her over the years, with Yassamin conceding that when she first joined Coronis, she carried “a burden of debts, struggled with bad credit and did not own her own house”.
Now, things couldn’t be more different for the franchisee: “I don’t have any debts, I own my property, I have investment properties, I can comfortably book holidays; last year I travelled the world for seven weeks.”
According to Coronis, Ms McNair’s progress is a testament “to the company’s commitment to empowering individuals to achieve their dreams and aspirations”.
Calling the director “a shining example of the countless opportunities that await ambitious entrepreneurs” within the group, Coronis has doubled-down on its “dedication to shaping the future of the real estate industry”.
That stance, while always being prominent, has been front and centre since Karuna Mazzocchi was named as the group’s CEO back in March 2023.
At that time, outgoing CEO Andrew Coronis had said of Ms Mazzocchi: “It’s safe to say that she’s basically a real-life superhero, living our values and purpose of changing people’s lives for the better.”
With the changing of the guard considered a milestone for the group, another “significant milestone” in recent times was the alignment of Queensland’s Propper business under the Coronis banner, meaning the company now holds more than 9,500 homes under management.
In announcing the acquisition of the 550 properties under management, Coronis had indicated that the growth marked the “commencement of Karuna Mazzocchi’s growth phase”.
