The network’s professional development arm, The Academy, has been bolstered by the arrival of a 20-year industry veteran.

Last week, Belle Property announced Todd Madgwick as its head of property management growth and performance, with network chief executive officer, Peter Hanscomb, stating the move came off the back of “strong growth right across the Belle Property network and our stable of brands”.

With two decades of real estate experience under his belt, Mr Madgwick has been heralded by the executive as boasting a “reputation for building relationships on trust, accountability and superior customer service”.

Moreover, Mr Hanscomb celebrated the network’s new head of property management growth and performance as having “strong leadership qualities and passion for mentoring” attributes he believes will see Mr Madgwick easily “integrate into The Academy”.

Providing some more details about Mr Madgwick’s role, Mr Hanscomb explained his modus operandi will be to “expertly coach and develop our property management arm”, while also remaining “dedicated to boosting the growth and performance of this division which will make a significant impact on our network’s success”.

For his part, Mr Madgwick believes his skill set is perfect for the role.

“In this national role, I will work with principals across the whole network and all brands to enable them to grow their businesses and make them more efficient and agile,” he said.

“I like going out to businesses and helping people to grow and perform, and Belle Property is a great fit for me due to their reputation as a market leader, and I have a great respect and alignment with what the network is seeking to achieve,” he commented.

Mr Madgwick revealed his plans to “seek out acquisitions” while also “looking at profit and loss and other financial aspects to increase growth”. He “looks forward to being a key part of Belle’s professional development and training via The Academy”.

His arrival at the national network is a continuation of Belle Property’s strong beginning to the 202324 financial year, which includes its first foray into Tasmania, giving its Surry Hills office a leadership facelift through the arrival of two new co-principals, and adding extra firepower to an office on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.
