One of the state’s fastest-growing real estate network has set its sights on Melbourne’s west.
Melbourne-based network OBrien Real Estate has added two new locations to its arsenal, in the group’s latest deal, and brings the total number of offices under the network’s umbrella to 43.
West Melbourne agent Binh “Benny” Nguyen will bring 11 new team members and two offices into the OBrien family, giving the group new footholds across the suburbs of Sunshine and St Albans.
This is an important strategic move for OBrien, with network head of growth Jason Mudford noting that the western suburbs “is the fastest growing region of Melbourne”.
With two decades of experience in Sunshine and St Albans, and over 3,000 west Melbourne property transactions under their belt, Mr Nguyen and his team are gearing up to be a valuable addition to the OBrien Group. As Mr Mudford emphasised, the new members are “community-minded and live locally and are passionate about the suburbs they operate in”.
Mr Nguyen stated that he was drawn to OBrien Real Estate because they were “young and fresh in their marketing, innovative in technology, and looking to grow”.
Not only that, he shouted out that the newest recruits are “willing to learn and evolve in their practices to better themselves” so that they can “get the best outcome for their team – and, of course, their vendors and landlords”.
“When we felt it was time to consider our next phase of growth, we did our due diligence and we found that it was vital for us to find a network that was a good fit,” he stressed.
Growth is certainly a goal at the top of the OBrien Group’s list, with Mr Mudford revealing the brand’s ambitious “vision of building a 50-plus office network within metropolitan Melbourne over the next 12 to 24 months”.
With this new alliance ready for lift-off, OBrien believes it’s well on track to “fulfil its vision of becoming one of Victoria’s most progressive real estate groups”.
