The agency has acquired an established Elders office in Glenelg, on the South Australian capital’s western coast.
Elders Real Estate Glenelg will rebrand under the Ouwens Casserly umbrella following the move, with network managing director Nathan Casserly, stating: “We are absolutely delighted to have Andrew Hodge and the Elders Glenelg team on board.”
The “significant” move will enable Ouwens Casserly to extend its presence into new Adelaide markets, and Mr Casserly believes the cultural crossover between the two brands will ease any transition jitters.
“Elders’ solid reputation and deep-rooted community focus beautifully aligns with our own commitment to serving and enriching the lives of the communities we are a part of,” Mr Casserly said.
Andrew Hodge, director of Elders Real Estate Glenelg, said: “I’m looking forward to immersing our team in the exceptional and supportive culture created and led by Alex and Nathan.”
Shifting under the Ouwens Casserly banner offers both the wider group and the Glenelg office a range of possibilities, with harnessing technology and leveraging the Ouwen Casserly support systems celebrated for their capacity to develop the Glenelg office’s reputation.
Mr Hodge added the Ouwen Casserly network is a “perfect platform for our team to thrive and grow”.
“We’re excited to nurture our existing relationships and welcome the opportunity to create and nurture new ones,” Mr Hodge said.
The rebrand of Elders Real Estate Glenelg will reportedly come into effect on November 2023, when it will begin operating as part of the Ouwens Casserly network.
Acquiring Elders is the latest such move in what has been a busy year for Ouwens Casserly Real Estate, which includes the addition of Timms Real Estate into the fold back in February.
At the time, Mr Casserly labelled that alignment as a “critical next step” in the network’s growth, having commented that “assembling the right squad is important, and we are delighted to have partnered with Valerie and her all-star team”.
