The network’s executive team has welcomed a new business development manager from across the ditch.
Professionals Real Estate has announced a brand-new addition to its Western Australian leadership team: former Goodstays general manager Glen Rolle.
To take up the position, Professionals noted that Mr Rolle has returned to Perth for the first time in 13 years, after a long stint as a sales agent and manager on New Zealand’s South Island.
Having first begun his real estate career in Perth in 2009, Mr Rolle expressed enthusiasm at the opportunity to return to his home turf.
“In these first weeks I have travelled around WA with the aim of visiting every office,” the new business development manager shared. “I still have a few to go, including Kalgoorlie.”
He stated that he’s glad to be back in Perth, enjoying the weather and catching up with family. However, when it comes to Western Australia’s booming property market, Mr Rolle predicted that things will not be so laid-back.
“Following my meetings, I sensed from our agents that they expect the real estate market to remain strong,” he said.
“Of course, there are issues with a lack of supply in the rental market, but that situation is not unique to WA,” he stressed.
“There is no evidence that people are being pushed into mortgage sales despite uncertainty surrounding interest rates.”
With Perth recording some of the highest population growth and lowest supply in the country, Mr Rolle is not the only property professional singing the praises of the Perth housing market. REB’s number three ranked dealmaker Sean Hughes also recently commented on the strength of the Western Australian market.
For Mr Rolle, the Professionals’ appointment will fulfil a longstanding “passion for property”. He shared that he “look[s] forward to driving the group’s profile, recruiting and presenting Professionals’ options to new franchises, while supporting our 40-plus member offices across the state”.
Although a newcomer, Mr Rolle reported he already feels at home in the brand. “What I’ve noticed is a genuine feeling of family across the network that makes Professionals truly unique,” he stated. “Everyone feels part of the team and works together rather than against each other.”
“I’ve told all the principals and staff I’ve met that my door is always open,” he added.
Professionals CEO Katherine Gonzalez-Cork noted that Mr Rolle’s appointment is part of a larger growth strategy for their presence in the region, sharing: “Professionals has growth aspirations and is positioning the business for greater market share.”
“We are growing our network of agencies in the West, and Glen will help steer our current and future offices,” she concluded.
