After over 20 years with a rival brand, a bayside Melbourne real estate agency is shifting its loyalties to OBrien.

Melbourne agent Greg Scherwinski had been with Ray White Mordialloc since 2003, but things have recently changed. His Mordialloc office has just switched over to the OBrien network, which describes itself as “one of Victoria’s fastest growing real estate agencies”.

With 32 years serving the City of Kingston community under his belt, Mr Scherwinski is enthusiastic about the opportunities to continue serving local residents under the OBrien banner.

“I have always held OBrien Real Estate in the highest regard, and winning the REB Boutique Agency of the Year brought them into sharp focus,” explained Mr Scherwinski.

“Learning about OBrien’s plans for the brand, their investment in industry-leading sales and marketing technology, and their continued commitment to training and support opened my eyes to the possibility of what life could be like as part of the OBrien family.”

Mr Scherwinski’s decades putting together a team of hand-picked property professionals will not go to waste, as the team is set to stay on board for the next chapter of their Mordialloc office’s journey.

OBrien CEO Mitch Armstrong expressed optimism about the launch of OBrien Mordialloc, explaining that “even though they are already an integral part of the Mordialloc community, we believe there is significant upside for Greg’s office as part of the OBrien family”.

“The capacity to utilise the expertise and experience of the OBrien corporate team for the direct benefit of their clients is what motivates us each day,” he added.

According to the network, OBrien Mordialloc is just “another step on our journey to become a 50-plus office network within metropolitan Melbourne over the next 12 to 24 months”.

With over 40 offices currently up and running, it may not be too far off until this goal of over 50 Victorian offices is within reach.

April 2023 saw the network launch its 41st office in the south-east Melbourne suburb of Bentleigh, just a hop, skip and a jump up the road from Mordialloc. More recently, an October opening saw the brand set its sights on Melbourne’s west.
