One southeast Queensland business has unveiled a brand-new training and auction space in north Brisbane.

Harcourts Connections recently opened the facility, just two doors down from their Stafford-based headquarters, to better support their southeast Queensland operations.

The 900-square-meter space reportedly includes a flexible auction/training room with capacity to seat 300 people. A boardroom, reception area, meeting room, kitchen and podcast studio are also included in the mix.

The main room will be a haven for those who love to add a touch of theatrics to their auctions, with a raised stage, surround sound and even in-built smoke machines.

According to principal and owner Robbie Lofaro, the project has only been a recent development, but one fuelled by their growth.

“When we moved in here around January 2022, we thought we had all the space in the world,” Mr Lofaro said. “We had plenty of breakout rooms to help promote our culture of teamwork, but we had to do away with those as the business grew and we needed more desk space.”

Harcourts Connections believes that the expansion will help them facilitate enhanced staff performance, with the space set to be used for a varied range of purposes.

So far, the space has been used for weekly all-team meetings and daily training sessions. The group also hopes to use the new facilities for their regular careers nights.

“This is about so much more than appearances,” insisted Mr Lofaro. “This is about performance, and our team proves time and time again that when given the right tools, achieving big things comes more easily.”

Harcourts chief auctioneer Christian Hamilton was particularly enthusiastic about the new auction facility, calling the expansion “an absolute game-changer”.

“With properties projected onto the massive screens and an outstanding sound system, calling auctions up here will be next-level,” Mr Hamilton said.

The new opening also has the backing of Mitch Peereboom, CEO of Harcourts Queensland, who called Mr Lofaro “an outstanding leader”.

“He only began his career in real estate three years ago and since buying into this business and taking control, he has recruited an energetic team of over 70 people,” he stated.

“Robbie is a visionary, and his ambition is relentless,” the CEO emphasised.
