Belle Property has opened a new short-term rental office in Broome, just in time for the Christmas holiday rush.

Belle Property Escapes, the national network’s holiday let brand, has just launched its first-ever Western Australian office in the popular town of Broome.

Known as the gateway to the north-west Kimberley region, and steeped with history and heritage, Broome is rapidly gaining a reputation as a world-class destination for holiday-makers in Australia and beyond.

According to Tamyla Strahan, principal of Belle Property Escapes Broome, now is the perfect time to launch a holiday rental service.

“With so many wonderful tourist experiences on offer locally, the time is right to add this important new service to our current agency offering,” said Ms Strahan.

Having already been principal of Belle Property’s existing Broome office for the past two years, Ms Strahan is excited to provide holiday-makers with “the top-notch service and attention to detail our office is renowned for”.

According to Ms Strahan, the Broome holiday rental market can be complex to navigate, and a specialist short-term rental wing will be a valuable asset for the office.

“The short-term rental market presents its own unique challenges, with recent legislation mandating owners engage a property manager located within 15 minutes of their property,” she said.

“All our owners – particularly those located elsewhere – can relax knowing they are employing a seasoned professional who lives and breathes the local holiday market, and can deftly handle any issues on their behalf.”

Having both a traditional Belle Property office and a specialist holiday rental office in Broome will facilitate greater flexibility, according to Ms Strahan.

“Offering both short-term and long-term rentals in a town which can swell from 20,000 in the wet season to 60,000 in the dry season due to tourism means we can easily pivot a property from the holiday market into a longer-term offering where required,” she said.

Travis Coleman, head of Belle Property Western Australia, commented on the launch, saying: “We are excited to introduce Belle Property Escapes into WA for the first time under the leadership of Tamyla Strahan, who is well-known for offering a unique and personalised service to owners of short-term holiday properties in the Broome region.”

Launched in 2019, Belle Property Escapes currently has offices in 15 locations across NSW, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and now Western Australia, including Jervis Bay, Glenelg and Palm Cove.
