LJ Hooker and TAXIBOX have struck up a partnership, with all of the network’s referral fees to support its charitable giving.
The deal will give LJ Hooker customers access to a discounted price, while the storage and moving company harnesses the national network’s large footprint and trusted brand recognition to win customers.
TAXIBOX’s general manager of partnerships, Eric Weitzman, described the collaboration as something of a win-win.
“There are significant benefits for all involved. For TAXIBOX, we access an engaged group of customers who are keen to use our services; for our agency partners, it is a value-add, positive experience for their clients; and for end-customers they access a trusted, quality storage and moving service at exclusive prices,” Mr Weitzman said.
Rhonda Olsson, LJ Hooker’s general manager of operations, agreed that the partnership felt like a natural fit for the brand.
“In Australia’s competitive housing market, we are always looking for creative, out-of-the-box ways we can stand out from the rest and add real value for our customers who are buying, selling, or renovating their homes. This partnership allows us to do just that, ensuring our customers can access the services they need for the best price and from Australia’s leading brands,” Ms Olsson said.
“There is strong cultural and value alignment with LJ Hooker and TAXIBOX, and I am confident that this partnership will be a success and a true point of difference for our service experience,” she added.
Mr Weitzman explained that working closely with the real estate sector has become a key facet of the brand’s growth strategy. TAXIBOX has pre-existing relationships with Ray White and Woodards.
“Partnering with leading, reputable real estate agencies ensures Australians can quickly and simply access TAXIBOX’s services with the click of a button, ensuring a seamless service experience. Moving is one of life’s most stressful experiences, and through these partnerships, we are saving customers time, money and stress, while giving them confidence that they are working with a trusted, market-leading brand,” Mr Weitzman said.
LJ Hooker has decided to dedicate any revenue earned through referral fees from the partnership to its charitable endeavours. The LJ Hooker Foundation specifically supports a number of charities that focus on providing equipment to children’s hospitals, helping those affected by cystic fibrosis, and assisting people impacted by homelessness as well as victims of domestic violence.
