Over the last quarter century, one Victorian agency has grown four times over.

Buxton Hampton East is celebrating its 25th anniversary and is recognising its market-leading position across the areas of Hampton East, Moorabbin and Highett.

While the office initially started out with a handful of staff, directors Adam Gillon, Noel Susay and Paul Sibley now look after more than 20 team members across sales and property management.

Mr Gillon is the great-great-grandson of John Robert Buxton, and is known by the network as a “pioneering Buxton franchisee”.

He said the office’s success is “built on a foundation of trust, team work, and a relentless pursuit of excellence”.

“As we celebrate 25 years of operation, we reflect on the journey that has led us to become the market leader in our region.”

“We are grateful to our team, our strong culture and family environment, our clients and the community for their support over the years,” he remarked.

While reflecting, Mr Gillon said the office’s high staff retention rate is testament to the working environment, shouting out Rose Patterson, who heads up the property management team and has spent 21 years with the company.

Mr Gillon also took the time to reflect on “thousands of real estate transactions”, stating that the office “has held the number one position for more than 20 years”.

But even now, the team is not resting on its laurels. Mr Gillon noted that the team continues to look forward, contemplating “what’s next” on their horizon.

That includes through the introduction of new partners into the business, with the business leader noting the importance of “fresh blood to drive this office to further heights”.

“Buxton has gone through some exponential growth. We are very proud to be a part of a company that has such grand visions for the future, and this also allows us to continue to expand.”
