LJ Hooker has revealed its return to the Clarence River locale.

It’s under the leadership of LJ Hooker Iluka’s Danica Britten and Nick Potente, alongside LJ Hooker Yamba’s Kieran Mulvihill.

Having opened earlier this month on River Street, the trio said coming together for the new Maclean venture “made perfect sense”.

They believe the new LJ Hooker outpost enables their sellers and investors greater exposure through the Lower Clarence.

Ms Britten said the new agency will “be offering both sales and property management services” and leveraging relationships and connections through the Iluka and Yamba offices.

“LJ Hooker has a longstanding name and reputation for client service in the area,” she shared.

For Mr Potente, the new shopfront enables the trio to provide clients “with the best chance of securing a premium outcome in their real estate journey”, thanks to their connections through the Lower Clarence and combined knowledge and marketing tools.

“Whether we’re dealing with sellers or landlords, we foster relationships that are based on integrity, communication and results,” he continued.

The new office announcement follows a stabilising of the property market in Maclean over the last 12 months, as stated by CoreLogic and cited by the network.

Over the past few years, Maclean has benefitted from a surge in growth due to both COVID-19 and the Pacific Highway upgrade “which brough the Lower Clarence closer to south-east Queensland investors”.

Homes across the riverfront town have seen growth of 4.4 per cent over the past 12 months for a median price of $699,500. That followed a 70.6 per cent uplift in local area values over the prior three-year period.

As a result, Mr Mulvihill believes that Maclean and surrounds are well-positioned for the year ahead.

“There are still buyers in the market who haven’t been able to find what they’ve been looking for,” he remarked.

“There are pockets of the area that are undersupplied and we expect to see further interest over the summer months as tourists descend on the area.”

“We’re looking forward to helping sellers and investors position their properties to attract interest over the tourist season and beyond.”

Praising the trio’s foray into the area, LJ Hooker general manager of network Stephen Mutton commented: “Danica, Nick and Kieran are astute business leaders who have track records of delivering unmatched service and outcomes to their clients.

“They’ll bring this same commitment to Maclean, offering their sellers and investors greater exposure across all of the Lower Clarence.”
