A national network has started the new year with new leaders in two of its top jobs.

On 15 January, Rachel Eckey started in the position of Harcourts South Australia CEO, while Fabian Sanelli stepped into the role of Harcourts Victoria CEO.

Mr Sanelli is a new face for the brand, and Ms Eckey is an internal promotion.

Mr Sanelli most recently ran the Victoria-based independent auction business, EYS Auctions.

In welcoming him to the role, Harcourts’ CEO Adrian Knowles commented that the real estate veteran is well-known for his “exceptional energy and skills”.

“Fabian also has a deep passion for developing and mentoring great young people within this industry,” Mr Knowles added.

Meanwhile, he stated that Ms Eckey has been an “integral part of the Harcourts corporate support team, leading operations, marketing, growth and strategy within South Australia for the past nine years”.

With more than a decade of experience in real estate, she also comes to the leadership role with a background in strategic communications.

Looking ahead, the duo weighed in on their priorities for the first year in the role. Ms Eckey said she would be looking at growth while continuing to uplift the network’s staff and stakeholders.

For Mr Sanelli, his focus will be on digital tools as well as on-street events.

“I see the next 12 months as enhancing Harcourts businesses with significant potential, establishing a robust social media presence, and strengthening our auction culture through diverse programs and a clear focus on the growth of our Harcourts footprint,” he said.
