Three Victorian specialists have recently joined The Agency, as the brand sets its sights on the city’s inner west.
Leigh Melbourne, a highly regarded real estate expert, has recently joined The Agency after working at Jellis Craig.
“I love auctioneering and supporting first home buyers, upsizers and downsizers achieve their property goals,” said Mr Melbourne.
“We all have strong ties with the community in which we work and live, and look forward to attracting more like-minded property partners to The Agency and thriving Williamstown market.”
Mr Melbourne brought with him fellow team members Mark de Brabander and Noah Lautman-Wurt, both of whom have extensive experience with the Williamstown property market.
Mr de Brabander has worked with Mr Melbourne for the past 10 years, and “has a solid client base and is referral-driven,” according to Mr Melbourne.
“Noah is an impressive young property partner who has been at my side for the last two years and has excellent client feedback,” said Mr Melbourne.
The Agency Williamstown will focus on suburbs in Melbourne’s inner west, including the areas of Newport, Altona, South Kingsville and Yarraville.
Despite a current supply shortage, Mr Melbourne stated that he hopes to see “a bounce back of the number of properties coming onto the market” as interest levels ease.
General manager of sales for The Agency Victoria, Sally O’Connell, expressed support for the additions to The Agency, stating: “We look forward to supporting them in the next chapter of their careers and seeing continued success for them and their clients.”
“The Agency Williamstown will be led by property partners who have been recognised as the top performers in their area,” said Ms O’Connell. “They have an incredible understanding of the communities they service and their professionalism, coupled with an approachable style, makes them stand out in the marketplace.”
On the national level, managing director Geoff Lucas also expressed optimism about The Agency Williamstown’s future prospects under Mr Melbourne and his team, noting that the newcomers are a great example of the network’s growth strategy as they look to expand their “national brand of market leaders”.
“What we look to do is partner with leading agents in their respective markets and provide them with the centralised support they need so that they can focus on what they do best – selling real estate,” he said.
