Chris Shine and Justine Dill began their careers with Raine & Horne, and now have opened the doors on the brand’s latest office.

The leaders of Raine & Horne Toowoomba described the decision to link back up with the network a “coming home”.

Having each started their real estate journeys at different times with Raine & Horne in Toowoomba, they parted with the network in 2017, working with several different brands in the intervening years.

Now they’re back, linking up with the brand that started it all for the duo in a move that Mr Shine described as having “a nice synergy”.

“We’ve reached a level in our careers with other experiences and other agencies where we just felt that we needed to do our own thing just to round it out,” he added.

And the brand has welcomed them back gladly.

Angus Raine, executive chairman of Raine & Horne, noted that the duo were “returning to their origins while also bringing a wealth of experience and a commitment to service excellence”.

“I am thrilled to welcome Chris and Justine back to our team and eagerly anticipate maintaining the exceptional standard of real estate products and services that the Toowoomba community has consistently come to expect from Raine & Horne over the past three decades,” Mr Raine said.

Mr Shine expresses a keen interest, making this move the local area where real estate prospects are prospering.

“The market is robust, with a shortage of housing stock and population growth driving prices upwards.”

“The median house price is currently $550,000, while apartments are seeing a recent uptick. With the median price around $362,500, apartments are very affordable in Toowoomba for first-time buyers and investors.”

Both Ms Dill and Mr Shine commented that they are looking forward to working with the brand’s onboarding process and advanced technology tools.

“We are keen on leveraging Amplify and its social media capabilities to their fullest extent, ensuring we maximise our impact within the town,” Mr Shine said of the network’s AI-powered social media marketing platform.

Ms Dill added that the brand has made a lot of changes in the space since they’ve been away.

“We’re just beginning to explore products such as Amplify and DigiKitPlus introduced by Raine & Horne since our departure, and the exciting capabilities we’ve witnessed so far are fantastic.”

Mr Shine stated that as they navigate this transition, their goal is to stay committed to “client service, and achieving optimal results for sellers and buyersand “to expand our reach into lifestyle and farming areas of Toowoomba that have not been covered”.

He explained that they will achieve this partly through supporting local causes, starting with Tony’s Community Kitchen, an organisation that provides meals for the homeless.
