A series of webinars will give real estate professionals access to science-backed advice for maximising mental wellness.
Rise Initiative, a not-for-profit charity that works to build awareness about mental health in the real estate industry, will launch a new webinar series linking up property professionals to the latest performance coaching advice, free of charge.
“Mental health – just like physical health – is a spectrum,” said Rise Initiative coordinator Kylie Davis. “Sometimes we have great days, sometimes we struggle.”
It can be difficult for individuals to gauge the line between healthy and unhealthy stress levels, but Rise Initiative suggested that speaking openly about mental health with colleagues could be one tool for breaking the stress cycle.
“In this webinar, we will be having some frank conversations about how we’re really feeling and uncover why real estate and property management can be hard,” said Ms Davis. “Improving mental wellness can be an important driver to everyday success in both our careers and personal lives.”
The first webinar, created in combination with Brain Hacks for Real Estate, will explain the neuroscience behind contemporary performance coaching and counselling, and give tips on working towards better mental wellbeing.
Future webinars will cover topics including stress management, motivation, work/life harmony, productivity hacks, mindfulness and building resilience, with the input of well-known performance coaches.
MRI Software APAC will provide backing for the webinar series, and executive managing director David Bowie expressed enthusiasm about the initiative.
“This webinar series will help you to explore practical techniques and strategies to navigate the high-pressure environment of real estate, empowering you to effectively manage stress and maintain a resilient mindset,” said Mr Bowie.
He also noted the benefits of the webinar sessions for internal team connection, explaining that the webinar sessions “offer a great opportunity for teams to gather over lunch because watching the webinars together can help to build team spirit”.
MRI Software stated that it is “proud” to continue its support for the Rise Initiative in this latest endeavour.
“Embracing the lessons shared by Rise will help the industry to develop healthier relationships between work and overall life satisfaction,” said Mr Bowie.
The webinar series is not the first online initiative from Rise, which previously made the decision to offer virtual tickets to their 2022 Melbourne conference.
