The network has opened two new offices across south-east Queensland as it looks to achieve growth targets in the region.
The new offices are located in Surfers Paradise, which is operating as a centralised hub, and in Kirra, at the southern end of the Gold Coast.
The Agency also revealed that property partner Toby Sandell has relocated from Toowoomba to lead the operations for the Kirra office, while property partner Craig Caughlan is heading up the Surfers Paradise-based outfit.
Mr Sandell commented on his love of the area due to its access to beaches, minutes to the airport and great cafes and restaurants, and said that the new offices offer “a great opportunity for our team to utilise both locations”.
Commenting on the new offices, The Agency managing director and CEO Geoff Lucas said: “Queensland’s Gold Coast has seen strong recent growth and this is expected to continue in line with the broader South Coast Queensland region.”
He said the group is seeing a trend in buyer migration from Victoria and NSW and is “well positioned with its team of local experts to help support those on their property journey”.
Looking ahead, Mr Lucas stated that the agency has strategic plans to relocate to a new office hub in Brisbane as it looks for further expansion.
“There are many signs that Brisbane will join Perth as one of the strongest housing markets in 2024, and this is evidenced by Brisbane overtaking Melbourne as the third most expensive housing market in the country,” he pointed out.
“Hosting the 2032 Olympics means that Queensland is on the global map and it has a unique lifestyle and economic benefits that are attractive to locals as well as overseas migrants.”
Recently, The Agency opened a Sunshine Coast HQ office which complements their existing offices in Toowoomba, Rockhampton and Brisbane.
