In unveiling the full line-up of speakers for this year’s Australasian Real Estate Conference (AREC), John McGrath has touted the compelling breadth of talent and experience in Australian real estate.

Returning to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre for the 12th time, the 26th iteration of AREC aims to “change the trajectory of real estate careers and business”.

As AREC founder, John McGrath, shared he is “proud of how this event has evolved over the years and strongly resonated with our industry”.

“Over 90 per cent of Australia’s top agents have attended AREC at least once and the majority return yearly,” he pointed out.

“Equally about 800 agents cross the ditch from New Zealand, so it adds to the excitement and depth of the event.”

Speaking on the makeup of this year’s event, McGrath called it “a compelling combination of real estate experts and those who excite and inspire us every day in their careers, success and thinking”.

“The opening keynote, Ryan Serhant, is currently considered the world’s leading residential agent. Along with Australia’s own legendary agents, including Mat Steinwede and Gavin Rubinstein, this year’s AREC should not be missed, as you won’t get the depth of information and experience anywhere else in the world, and it’s in our own backyard.”

Keynote speakers will include A-list actor Ryan Reynolds, Australian businessman and entrepreneur Mark Bouris, performance coach and author Todd Herman, and business thinker Tiffani Bova.

They’ll be joined by the likes of Suzanne Hibberd, Fiona Horne, Marnie Seinor and Robyn Ellson, alongside Sarah Hackett, Trevor Bowen, Peter Diamantidis and Dib Chidiac, among other real estate heavyweights.

Izzy Savva, who was recently appointed as the new head of Total Real Estate Training (TRET), called the current period “an exciting time for the evolution of this iconic mecca for industry training and development”.

“We are incredibly focused on delivering a holistic approach to business: work, mind and health, and the importance of how it impacts business growth,” she shared.

Revealing the plan to elevate the AREC experience and make it more interactive for delegates, Savva also noted that delegate feedback had played a big role in planning this year’s agenda.

“Our keynote Ryan Serhant appeared via satellite last year and was our highest rated speaker. This year he will make the journey from NYC to the Gold Coast to open this year’s conference and will appear live on stage as he opens the program for both days,” she stated.
