Anita Hugo has been appointed to the role of NSW deputy executive director for the Property Council of Australia (PCA).
Property Council noted that Hugo’s appointment comes after her time serving in several senior positions within her six years with the organisation, including her primary role as the Hunter and Central Coast regional director.
Property Council NSW executive director, Katie Stevenson, cited Hugo’s tenured employment and reputation within the Property Council and the industry at large as significant influencers behind her designation.
“The deputy executive director role contributes significantly to the success of the NSW division and is an important connection for our members and industry.”
“Anita’s leadership, commitment to excellence and wealth of knowledge will allow her to hit the ground running in this role, and to further champion and amplify the advocacy work we do on behalf of our members,” Stevenson concluded.
The organisation additionally noted that Hugo would continue to serve in the Hunter regional director role until a new appointment is made.
This announcement comes at a time of great activity for the Property Council as PCA CEO Mike Zorbas’ address at the National Press Club concerning the feasibility of the national target of 1.2 million homes marked the first time in more than 20 years a PCA executive had spoken to the organisation.
