For the fourth consecutive year, the REB Top 50 Agents WA 2024 ranking has recognised the state’s top performers who have set the benchmark for excellence.

The annual state-based Top 50 Agents ranking and associated report reward agents who have notched up high sales numbers and values and provided exceptional customer service to buyers and vendors during the 2023 calendar year.

It also identifies agents who have established a strong local presence and customised service for clients in their area.

Agents in the mining state operated under unique circumstances in 2023, as property prices soared in Perth and regional Australia. Indeed, CoreLogic’s research recently revealed that prices in Perth climbed by 19.8 per cent over the 12 months to 31 March 2024, the largest growth among all capital cities in Australia.

Similarly, regional Western Australia also experienced the steepest rise compared to other states, with prices increasing by 12.2 per cent.

The lack of housing supply, coupled with high buyer demand due to interstate and overseas migration, is contributing to the property price hikes, but Perth remains relatively affordable compared to the larger capital cities, CoreLogic noted.

The state’s top 50 agents capitalised on these conditions last year, selling a total of 4,106 properties for $3.5 billion up from the 3,843 properties sold for $3.3 billion in 2022.

The top 10 agents sold 1,035 properties for $1.35 billion in 2023, up from 967 properties sold in 2022 for $1.3 billion.

In line with the increase in home values in the state, the average sales price rose 3.9 per cent to $1.08 million in 2023 for the top 50 Western Australian agents and 7.1 per cent to $1.56 million for the top 10 agents.

The top 50 agents sold properties at a quicker pace in 2023, with days on market down from 37 to 28.3. However, the top 10 agents took 34.7 days on average to sell a property, up from 31 days in 2022.

Ray White Dalkeith | Claremont principal, Vivien Yap, has secured first rank in Western Australia for the fourth consecutive year. She has held the top position in WA since the inception of the Top 50 Agents rankings.

Realmark Coastal director and sales associate, Sean Hughes, has replaced Realty Lane director Daniel Gonzalez in second place, while Gonzalez moved to fourth place. Hartanto Properties director Eric Hartanto is ranked third this year.

REB editor, Grace Ormsby, said: “This year’s results showcase the stellar work being done by agents across the state in capitalising on current market conditions – and shines a light on those agents who are going above and beyond for their clients.”

“Congratulations to every agent named in this year’s ranking! Your commitment and dedication to your local communities and the real estate profession has not gone unnoticed.”
