Leslie Hooker has wasted no time in taking up the reigns as executive chairman for LJ Hooker, appointing a new board of directors to the real estate franchise.
Included on the board are Greg Paramor, the founding partner of Equity Real Estate; John Kinghorn the founder of RAMS Home Loans, RentWorks and Allco Finance Group; Robert McLean, a former chairman of Elders Rural Services and Grahame Cooke and Alan Lambert, both of which have worked for the estate agency for the past 35 years.
According to Mr Hooker, each director offers a unique set of skills and will bring a wealth of experience to the position.
“The LJ Hooker brand coupled with the new ownership and board will enable the company to grow to its potential. The recent financial crisis has provided many opportunities in the real-estate market for nimble, well capitalized companies like LJ Hooker,” he said.
