The Marshall White Foundation has lauded its community for raising more than $150,000 for a number of good causes at its annual ball.

Touted as a night of “glitz, glamour and giving”, the Marshall White Foundation played host to 400 guests at the Grand Hyatt earlier this month for its Carnival themed ball, which transported attendees to Rio De Janeiro.

With the evening’s activities emceed my Channel Nine’s Tom Steinfort, guests were treated to a “dazzling display of colour, music and dance”.

After being greeted by the Tropicana Girls, Isaac Moran performed an acoustic performance for the attendees, before Karin Achavez took to the stage with the Brazilian drummers, and an aerial hoop performer Kealy wowed the crowd – with the night rounded out on the dancefloor, thanks to the Andrew Loadsman band.

Guests also had the opportunity to participate in a raffle, silent auction, and a live auction – with all funds raised going towards Marshall White Foundation’s partner charities: You Matter and Launch Housing.

With addressing homelessness and creating safe havens for women and children who are fleeing domestic and family violence a core aim of the Marshall White Foundation, the charity said the $150,000 raised would play “a crucial role in enabling MWF to continue its vital work”.

Giving thanks to the evening’s major sponsors, the foundation said their generous support “played a significant role in bringing the Foundation Ball to life”.

Domain, Levantine Hill & Bensons Property Group, Briner, Neo Printing, and NAB were all lauded for making the night a successful one.

Post-event, the Marshall White Foundation expressed its “heartfelt gratitude to all those who attended, sponsored, and contributed to making the Foundation Ball 2024 an extraordinary success”.

“Together, we have taken a significant step towards creating a more compassionate society, and we look forward to continuing this important work in the years to come.

“The ball was more than just a social event; it was a resounding affirmation of the commitment of the Marshall White Foundation and its supporters to create positive change and build a brighter future for those who need it most,” it concluded.
