First National Real Estate Alexander’s principal Kay Alexander has retired, but the office’s leaders will maintain the agency’s decades-long family legacy.
With Alexander’s retirement coming after “three decades of dedicated service to the Bright community”, First National reports that the former principal will be succeeded by her two sons, Cameron and Regan.
The network detailed that Alexander has been a “cherished member of the First National family” who is held in high esteem for her “outstanding leadership and commitment” throughout her 37 years with the network.
Alexander initially took over management of the family’s titular agency six years ago following the passing of her husband and former principal Barry. Now her transfer of ownership to sons Cameron and Regan continues the Alexander family’s legacy.
Now taking a well-deserved break, Alexander said that she would sorely miss all of her First National family.
“It’s been such a big part of not only my life, but our family’s life, since Barry commenced working for First National Real Estate Fred Neal back in July 1989 – when the kids were little.”
“The one good thing though is friendships are forever, and I’ve made many at First National,” Alexander expressed.
To honour Alexander’s career, First National’s Bright outpost invited “family, friends, and locals” to join in a farewell celebration that saw many visitors drop by to bid the former principal well in her retirement.
Looking towards the future, Cameron and Regan were described as being “enthusiastic and well-prepared to uphold the values and dedication their parents brought to First National Alexanders”.
“We are excited to build on the strong foundation our parents created,” said Cameron.
“Our goal is to integrate modern technology and innovative practices to enhance the client experience while maintaining the personal touch that our agency is known for.”
Regan echoed these sentiments, adding: “We want to ensure that First National Alexanders remains a trusted and supportive presence in Bright.”
“Community involvement has always been a cornerstone of our family’s business, and we intend to continue that tradition,” he concluded.
