A leading Queensland agent will begin a new era at Place Estate Agents.
Tom Kralikas, a Canberra-born agent with 17 years of real estate experience, is the newest team member to join Place One Group.
Since relocating to Brisbane nearly two decades ago to start his property career, Kralikas has made a name for himself as one of the CBD’s best agents.
“I’ve always been drawn to challenges and opportunities for growth,” Kralikas said.
When he launched his real estate sales career in 2007, the economic climate was challenging and he needed to learn on his feet.
“I’ll never forget listing and selling my first property within just four weeks of starting out,” he recalled.
“It was a tough market, and I learnt that every ‘no’ was just one step closer to a ‘yes’ – a philosophy that shaped my approach ever since.”
By 2011, Kralikas had co-founded his own independent boutique real estate agency, specialising in high-end executive management and sales. Later, he worked as a lead agent with Harcourts in the inner north Brisbane suburb of Windsor.
For Kralikas, the transition to Place “represented a natural evolution in my career”.

Kralikas’s arrival at Place Bulimba comes one year after the group first announced the creation of Place One Group, which aimed to put one team in four Brisbane locations.
Place One Group – which covers Bulimba, Damp Hill, Cannon Hill and Carindale – incorporates some of the brand’s most high-performing agents, including Sarah Hackett and Meagan Muir.
